Scoring Your Trophy
Now that you have that big suburban whitetail on the ground don’t you want to know what it scores? Below you’ll find the score sheets used for whitetail deer by the Pope and Young Club. To qualify, typical whitetails must score 125 and non-typical whitetails must score 155. For more information on having your trophy entered into the P&Y Club Record Book visit their website.
The Pope and Young Club has a crew of volunteer, trained, official measurers scattered throughout the United States. To find a measurer in your area (the first step in submitting an animal to be honored in the Records Program), search the P&Y database here.
